Tyre pressure gauge

can anyone suggest a get gauge for tyre pressure and where to get it from?

requirements - as accurate as possible and as small as possible (but no smaller than necessary for accuracy and durability).

being an electronics guy - I would prefer the more durable (and usually more accurate) mechanical kinds, but all suggestions are welcome.

Re: Tyre pressure gauge

Before answering you, here is a question for you.
Simple, 'WHY?'. Why do you want a more accurate tyre pressure guage?

Let me put some points that stand behind this question.
If your answer is 'to check maintain the PROPER pressure always', lets say you wish to maintain the manufacturer spec of 27.5 bars (just an example) do you think this (accurate value) will help you? Answer is 'NO'. What ever the OEMs / tyre manufacturer specify is the average pressure value.

Fact is tyre pressure depends on various factors like
Temperature (either atmospheric or the heat developed on the tyre after running)
Condition of the tyre (New with full threads, Old & almost bald)
It is difficult to tabulate different pressure values for different conditions.

So, I would say don't look for the very accurate one. IMO it is not worth spending much for it. But of course a basic one is more helpful in saving your tyres & fuel.

To answer your question, here is the thread.
