Ordered from them a days ago - delivered within 3 days of me placing the order. 175/65 R14 tyres for what worked out to be about 3500 a tyre - Apollo Acelere. These were 37-13 manufactured tyres, so was pretty impressed overall. Though I must confess, didnt check the prices in the retail market - price just seemed pretty decent compared to ChangeMyTyre rates.

Did they also install the tyres ?

If not, how much did the near by tyre store charge for installing the tyres ?

Nope, they didnt install the tyres. Just delivered them.

Had to get that done at a tyre store - IIRC, maybe about 100-150 a tyre or something? Wasnt there when they were put on, so not too clear.

Re: Tyre dealers accuse MRF, JK & others of Price-fixing

Am planning to purchase from Snapdeal, I am just concerned if they will ship me old tyres. Typically instore, I get maybe 3 quarters old one. Any suggestions, if I can go ahead?
I called a store in Chennai (where I have purchased 3 sets of 4 tyres each) and he quoted me 5600 for RE88, while it is 4433 online...

No mater what be date of manufacturing, warranty is honored according to date of purchase. Likewise I had to replace JK tyre which was manufactured 51 week of 2010 and was purchased on 6 Apr 2011. JK honored warranty and gave me a new tyre as older one developed a fault on 27 Mar 2014. 3 years warranty on JK Vectra.

Go ahead purchase from Snapdeal and just preserve the bill.
