| ![]() Couple of Weeks ago I received a mail from Gautam of Sai Mag Wheels, Delhi conveying that they're adding another brand to their existing Alloy Wheels lineup of HRS (HR), Yongle, Freeman & Star (Their own brand). I rather thought this new brand would be a Budget Brand, placed below HRS but the moment he broke this Exclusive tie-up with Momo, I was surprised considering that all these years long, they've kept HRS at the top. Although this new Entrant's news was good but I wasn't very enthusiastic since I remember the Step-Motherly attitude of such Brands 'coz they have either little or none to offer in 13" or 14" sizes. I remember the time when Team BHP hooked me to Alloy Wheels and while scouting for 13" for my Xing, I couldn't find anything like Enkei's or Lenso's and a post here by BHPian Notorious led me to Sai Mag Wheels, where I got HRS Alloys! Gautam conveyed that the First lot of Momo's has sizes from 14" to 16", seems 13" days are now go, went and gone! Few days ago I had to visit Hans Hyundai Service Center for a Running Repair and Sai Mag is very near to it. Got some pics of the Momo Range, putting up over here. Priced at 26k, 30k and 35k for 14", 15" and 16", BHPians are also entitled to an additional 5% discount. These Wheels are Lighter compared to the Standard HRS Range but as of now HRS has a wider Portfolio of Designs although more designs and bigger sizes are en route in Momo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by moralfibre : 25th August 2014 at 13:03. Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Let me be the first one to post on this thread!! Very good news indeed and isn't out-priced. Do they have 4-hole (not multi pcd) 108pcd designs in 14" or 15" sizes? |

Anyone has long-term experience with MOMO alloys? I hear these are pretty light weight performance alloys- will it take the abuse Indian roads will throw at it?

| ![]() I placed an order for 4 momo alloys from these guys on 18th August (4.26 pm to be precise). Payment of Rs. 29K (which included delivery charge) was made by Credit Card. The alloys were delivered to me at my door step in Mumbai on 22nd August! Talk of service ![]() Definitely recommended. Additionally, I had to pay an amount of Rs. 1786 towards Octroi on delivery. |

| ![]() Momo is an Italian company that produces accessories for automobiles. For more information please go through the below link Source Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOMO_(company) Last edited by Rehaan : 26th August 2014 at 18:23. Reason: Fixing quote |

I guess he wants to know the exact place of manufacturing. Buying an Apple phone - you'll mostly end up with an 'assembled in China' piece. Similarly MOMO brand may not guarantee these alloys are shipped directly from Italy. Last edited by Rehaan : 26th August 2014 at 18:23. Reason: Fixing quote

| ![]() I could not decipher as to where the alloys are manufactured, so wrote to the guys at saimagwheels and they said that these wheels are manufactured in Italy! Hard to believe that though. |

If he's conveyed that they're Made in Italy, then I can believe his word since he's been very straightforward about these things. When I asked him about the Production of 'Star' Alloy Wheels, he told me China without any hesitation.

BHPian ![]() | ![]() I wish the website would let me search by PCD as well as size and number of holes. It's so difficult to find 17"/18"/19" in 5x112 :-( |

| ![]() Sharing the pictures of my BIL's Momo Corse Alloys on his Skoda Rapid. Though I'd noticed it on his car, was not aware about the brand until I noticed this thread on it being officially launched here on T -BHP today. |
