Hi,
I have a Santro Xing ,i have seen alloys of 15 inch alloys on some of the santro's on the road,I wanted to fit them on my Santro, but when i approached some of the People who sell them they refused to put them on my car and stated that no 15inch alloys can not fit on a Santro,
If any one could inform me how can i install the allows on my car and what profile tyres will i require, and how does it affect the car over all.
And if its is advisable or not.

Thanx Cheers.

yeah thats a tough ask, even I have a santro xing and I was planning to install 14" on it. as per the tiresizecalculator I would need a 185/55/R14 for it which is very difficult to get in India as its not a common size.

Getting a 15" incher is even more difficult, use the tiresizecalulator to find out the right one for you.

13" would be ideal and for 13" you do get lot of choices and brands!

13" is ideal ...

Ride becomes bad at 60 profile now imagine anything lower

and then 14" and 15" can be fitted but be prepared for a DHINCHAK ride and we are not talking bout the BASS heheh

Try yokohama tyres as u can get them in weird and wacky sizes

195/45/15 should fit provided u get the tyre

Yokohama 15in Tyre - 195/45/15 A539

15" rims for Santro is an over kill.....

Any tyre below 60 profile is not worth it on our Indian roads..

Hankook tyres are available in those ultra low profile sizes...

U wont have peace running 15" on a Santro

Wildthing I'm running a 60" profile on my Xing. And its stiff enough to knock the fillings outta my teeth(good thing I dont have any fillings ).

So try not to go below that profile.. cause from what i've heard Mumbai's roads ain't butter smooth enough!!

Thanks a lot all..

Hi,
Thanks a lot all , All the enthusiasm for putting 15" Alloys has deminished after reading all the response, i wonder what i was thinking ,I guess the best option will be to fit 13".I guess Santro is not a very good car to Modify.
I think i will fix the 5 spoke ice chrome alloys with the standard tyres, and will spend the cash on buying a heavy music system.
Does any one know any body who can sell me some good alloys 13" at a decent rate,Besides ombay tyres and Saify, Because Bombay Tyres and Saify at santacruz did have many options in chrome when i went..
Thanx
Cheers.
