I've been thinking of putting alloys on my Zen as well, but I dunno where to start. Are those Aura wheels a good choice? Are there any other (perhaps cheaper) options? What's the starting range for alloys? How does 12" or 13" make a difference? Do the tires have to be tubeless (mine are not)? How much would the entire deal cost - fitting all four (or five) with the alloys and then putting them back into the car (lol, of course)...?

Lots of questions .. hoping to get some answers!

hey aalaap
few zens camewith 13inchers and few with 12inchers,check whichone are yours
13 inchers give u better handling,will 12 inchers might give u a better ride

with alloys your handling willimprove, mileage wil improve a bit,u dont need tubeless tyres for it,
the range in 12 inchers is very less as comaperd to 13 inchers, price is between 8 to 12 k for a set of four or five,
buy neo or aura as they have 2 years replacment warranty, and you get single piecesif something happens to one piece

hope this answers to ur questions!

het Aalap,
if u r changing ur tires also,u can go for the 155/65r13 of the wagonr vxi.
the profile is abit lower ,so the ride may be a bit bad on bad roads ,but ur handling shud improve.
if at all the tire touches at the RHS rear,
u can cut the inside edge of the rear that touches the tire.i.e the inside bent part .it really helps as v yhave done it in a friends car ,and u need not raise ur ht.also.
155/65 is okay but 155/70 cud touch.

yo aalaap another thing if u are changing the tyres along with the rims go in for bridgestone potenza g111 they are just amazing in looks!

ps:why do u wanna do all this to ur zen?? postponing the lancer buying?if not i suggest keep the money in some nationalized(!!) bank and spend it on ur lancer
