Late by a day crdi.Just finished the tyres upgrade on my car yesterday and traded off 4 tyres (205/60/R13") with the dealer itself Dint mind giving it to a bhp'ian for a fair deal . The tyres had run only 1300kms and was in good shape.

Ishan, I am also thinking of upgrading my viva crdi's tyres they currently run on Bridgestones S322 ( 175/70 R13)

What would be the best tyres to choose for fatter rubber to give it a sporty look that enhances the ride and handling but does not effect the FE too much?

Which Brand tyres are good? Yokomohos, Michelin or bridgestones ( potenza or turanza)?

What would be the approximate cost of each tyres?

What could be the rate i can expect for my stock tyres run 7K kms?

Sorry too many questions

185/60-14 with 5.5J alloys
Bridgestone GIII or Michelin Energy XM1

Yokohamas : never used : cant comment
Michelin : good ride comfort n low road noise
Bridgestone GIII- very gripy but noisy at high speeds

@Kpzen, thanks. But just moving 1 inch up gives the car a sporty look? ( I mean does the tyres look fatter?)

Guys, please do not hijack this thread with 'I too want to change my tyres' kind of stuff. You want to change your tyres, go start another thread. no one's stopping you

@crdi : did you contact dr.chill ? Isn't there any used tyre market in TVM ?

i can give you rs1000 per tyre if they have run only 7000km and if you can courier or parcel them to me at salem in tamilnadu . i need four tyres. a new s322 175/70 r13 costs rs2300 so i think this would be the best quote you would ever get for a used set. reply if interested.
