Radurra "Clear Wheels" - See Through Wheels!!!

$5,000 for 1 wheel.
Polycarbonate construction using techniques of jewelry manufacturing...

Pretty crazy looking...especially if you have some nice cross drilled rotors and a beefy calipers!

Radurra Wheels " The Clear Wheel" By Forgiato Wheels

And ofcourse, there are going to be some ventilation issues, before everyone mentions it!

Looks neat... nice choice of car for displaying the wheels.

Wonder who would spend so much on a set of these wheels though.

Hey akshay1234,

Posted before on TBHP? Could you please give me the link...i searched for "radurra" before creating the thread but didnt find anything.

Irags, more than the dirt, or the cooling of the brakes, i wonder how the clear plastic will handle the heat (and forces) of a REAL drive....

Well Rehaan, some grades of Polycarbonate can be made to tolerate high-temps which might work for normal street drive tempratures. But yes, I agree with you if it was high-performance car I wouldn't be so sure of how well they would last.

Wouldnt that thing be full of disc-brake dust after a while ? It'd totally need a lot of maintenance ...

Looks weird! Why on earth would you go for a transparent when there are such fantastic designs available. But I guess everyones got their own drug.

May be the transparent wheel makes visual inspection possible without having to jack up the car and crawl under it?
