Tyre and alloys upgrade

I am thinking of changing my current set of tyres and alloys. My current setup is 185 r13 65 they are in an alto

i wanted to upgrade to 185 r14 45 or 195 r14 45

i don't mind the ride comfort as the road in chandigarh are quite good and also i don't mind the mileage to as i am happy with 13 which i am getting

i want to know the cost of the tyres and alloys and if any thing has to be done to the suspension i already have spacers

Though its an overkill size for an Alto.. but 195 makes only -1.06 difference and speedo error will be less in that case and 185 makes -2.74%..

I wont suggest both the sizes but if u still wanna go then go with 195

You are talking BIG upsizing on a small car. 14" HR alloys cost 3.5k a piece here in chennai & the tyres should cost you around 3 to 4 k depending on what you want.

I will settle for 165's on 5j alloys. 185 / 195 is like inviting trouble on the Alto.

Well then how do you expect 195's to fit?? You would have to have some local juggad's to make them work. Also since it's a non-PS Alto I think manik's going to have a nice workout driving the car itself, no need to go to the Gym anymore man!!!

I would suggest you get 165/65 R13 tyres & remove those damn spacers. Tyre options are:

Bridgestone S322
Bridgestone Turanza
Michelin Energy XM1

you mean 165/60/r13 will slow down the car more than 185/60/r13 ?
