Go for 195/55/15.

- IMO, alloy design should be such that the rear drums do not show through it.
- Go to the League site. I think they have nice designs and the finish is pretty good.
- Go to a shop and check out some designs in the flesh. That'll give you a better idea.

i would to suggest 195/55r15

and anything above it would effect the ride more and will make it very uncomfortable

go for some chrome alloys as its black colour

Alloys will depend entirely upon your budget. League and Plati are extremely common nowadays; even the smaller cars have the same designs, so if you go in for one of those you can kiss exclusivity goodbye. Lenso and Hijoin are much better but will offer very limited designs in smaller sizes. Then again, there is the small matter of taste...what looks "good" on a black Baleno will differ with almost every person you ask. I'd suggest you fix a budget, at least approximate, then a style (5-spoke, multispoke etc.) and then look around for choices.
Cheers

Go for something like this- what Samurai did in his baleno.

Loved both, Samurai's Baleno as well as Ramie2400's photoshopped one. My choice is get Black Alloys for the car. It gives That look to the car. Check with Viper, he had black alloys on his City before he changed them. I believe he still has them. They are Hijoins

Try these, 16" with a chrome lip and pearl white spokes. Very light, strong, and they look amazing, more so at night.

This is the best photo of my Baleno alloys...

I have never seen anybody else with the same alloy design, I guess it was an one time design.

Gimme a call sometime in the week. I can give you the pics of the rims I have, as discussed.

Do think of black with mirror lip. I haven't seen too many black balenos with black rims. They might be darned hard to find though.

I completeley agree with this.. the alloys shoul be such that the rear drums are not that visible...

My Budget is around 45 K including tires.. cant spend more than that :-(

Yup I too am thinking of black alloys, but cant visualize it how it would look... need to do som photoshopping, maybe razor can help !!

@viper - can you please send some pics of your city with black alloys?
and is the budget too low?
another personal preference is if I can get allows which are bent a little inward.. i don know if I am making sense..lol It is more like some SUV's have and I had told the same to razor and he has told me that I may have some probs with the offset... can anybody throw som light on this... now maybe I am asking for to much .. lol

Budget looks ok. You should get 195/55/15s for around 4K to 4.5K apiece. Thats 20 to 22.5K for 5 tyres.

A set of 5, 15" alloys should cost around 20K.

I know you don't want to go for F1's, but the price of a 195/55/15 F1 GSD3 is 4300.
Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 (the tyres I bought) are not available at that size according to their regional distributor. Interestingly, Michelin Australia lists this size as available. I guess they never made it to India.
If you are willing to stick to 14" rims, PP2 is available in 195/60/14 (size that shuvc is running).

Alloys - depending on design and brand, 20-25k (as per your budget - u can always go higher )
