Looks like the pen I got was faulty. I had ordered the same make few weeks ago and the ink just wouldn't flow when I tried it on the tyre. I thought it was because of the angle of the pen and it is better to remove the tyre which I didn't get around doing.
When I shook it violently or kept the nib pressed for long , the ink was came out but when I started writing, it became dry. Maybe I should try your method. I wasted the ink on something else in the meantime.

Re: How to paint the Tyre Sidewall Letters?

This thread went cold in 2016, and here I am in 2023 still looking for answers.

I've tried with the pen in the link, but doesn't seem to do a good enough job. Quite easy to wipe it off.

Also to be noted is that I'm looking for a solution that allows me to paint the entire sidewall.

Posting here in the hopes of restarting the conversation.
