Hi Akshay,

I suggest tyre upgrade for Getz is ideal with 14inch nothing more because it will hurt FE very much I am sure and chances of tyres scrapping the body is more with 15inch.

If you really need 15inch tyre I feel you need to find a person who has done it and he will give you feedback about it.

Going by 50 profile tyre Getz ride quality will get affected. I feel best one is at least 60 profile with 185 R 14 but I am not sure about right upsize for Getz.

Regards,

Ravi.

Michelin Pilot Preceda's are also available in 195/50 R15. And they'll work fine on 6.5J rims.

I think 15" would be a unwise choice. not that it isn't possible,I've seen pix online of a getz on 18 inchers !! I have 195/60/R14 on my car. Just a bit of speedo diffrence (as per miata tyre calculator). Still gives me 12 and 16-17 kmpl on city and highway respectively. And the ride quality is uncompromised too.
