Are the BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres available in this size in India?

225/70 R16

I see this listed on the site but the dealers are saying that it's not available!

It isnt available. Stocks are not there. This is the case with many sizes under Michelin/BFG.

True. But all Michelin dealers are stocking BFG too. Mostly, they stock it in SUV sizes, but common sizes are available too. I inquired about 185/60R15 tyres, but the dealer (New Bharat Tyres, Trivandrum) said that 15 inch tyres weren't available under 195. Wonder what Manza owners will do when they go for tyre change!

So what's the conclusion on BFG tyres? Can anyone who has used them for a while give a good detailed review? So far, all we can conclude is that they are grippy but noisy. What I'd like to know is, are they grippier than other tyres in the same price range? And does the noise only appear at speeds above 100-120 kph?

Re: BF Goodrich tyres??

Gurus,
How good is BFGoodrich H/T when compared to Continental H/T?

This is for a Sumo Grande, which will be used for 90% city and highway. Size 235/70 R16

Price I've been given (NOIDA):
BFGoodrich H/T - Rs. 7025
Continental H/T - Rs. 7100
Exchange price for the showroom condition Apollos - Rs.5600

Re: BF Goodrich tyres??

Hi Guys,

Sorry for bumping up an old thread.

I'm on the lookout for 5 numbers of 235/75r15 bf goodrich t/a ko tyres. I know that bfgs are no longer available in India. But having known how a vehicle fitted with bfg feels, I'm not able to move to another brand. Could somebody on the forum throw some light as to how and where I can get these tyres? If the purchase is feasible, then another tbhp comrade is also interested in buying 6 of them. So the total count would be 11.

Thanks in advance

Re: BF Goodrich tyres??

Bumping an old thread to get some gyaan on whether BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tyres are available in India. They seem to be one of the most highly recommended for those seeking an all-round city + highway + off-roading tyre (see reviews on tirerack.com, 1010tires.com, and amazon.com).

Ishan and Nikhil B, since you guys are the acknowledged tyre gurus, can you please shed some light on availability as on date?

Re: BF Goodrich tyres??

BFG tyres arent available anywhere. They have been officially discontinued in India.

Thanks, Nikhil. Am guessing that there isn't a big enough market for imports either, and that fellow enthusiasts settle for Maxxis Bighorns and Yokohama Geolandars in the absence of the BF Goodrich T/A KO2?
