Lancer - Tire Sizes?

I ve been going thru various threads here and now I m confused as to what the real or best tire sizes for a Lancer would be!

Even the Bridgestone (highly recommended by the forumers) site confuses me with 195/65/14.

Ok, I use or have been using 195/60/14 tires for quite sometime now. And, I'm beginning to feel that i have been on the wrong set of tires for a long time now, especially after reading the diff threads.

help!

Thanks!

195/60/R14 is a good upsize for the lancer. What makes you feel that you've been on a wrong set. Is it because you've been reading things online or 'coz you have had genuine problems with this set. More often than not,we tend to believe the written word.

I have 195/60-14 on my lancer. They are a perfect upsize. It's a good compromise between ride and handling.

If you want a better ride then 185/65-14 is a good size as well.

I use 205/50/15 and while they look really hot, (coupled with the Lancer's stiff suspension) the ride quality is quite poor.

thanks guys for the replies.
yeah, the current tires are Goodyear Ducaro 195/60/14 and after 28K, they are noisy and nearly worn out, skiddin around the place. I never really liked having them on.
I have just asked the local bridgestone dealer to pick up a set of Potenza GIII @ 195/65/14. I hope they give me a better ride.

And yes,Wasava, I owe a lotta my confusion to the various things u read online! lol
