I agree with Sahil, for comfortable driving and max efficiency u shouldnt be going beyond 215 on 17s, else with ur 15 or 16s 205 is plenty. I have friends who have 225 on 17s too but u can feel the difference in driving majorly. I havent driven my car with the 235s yet but im sure ill be lacking on performance a tad bit. Like i said before i have them for a different reason otherwise id stick to 215 or 225 max.

In web site they have given Recommended tyre size are
215/45R 17,225/45R 17 or 245/40R 17 so i was thinking 245 will be good.....That is my dream to put 245.......Reg power- I think turbo is enough Reg FE - I dont mind .....I have already got 17" and i will get it on 15 or 20th Feb so i can not go for 16" now...pls advice

My pick would be ....215/45R 17...I wouldnt go above that.

To hell with power and FE if it isnt an issue, u want the looks and its ur dream to put in those extraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa wide tires, i say go ahead and fancy urself!

but then dont be dissappointed later on coz thats all coz ull be stuck with them!

mahi, also, what rims are u planning to put on your car? im looking around for a nice rack of 17s for mine as well but i cant find exactly the kinds i want, im considering importing myself a set but it will take long, i am thinking of these ones meanwhile, (btw i dont want any chromes)
option 1, 2 and 3. im more for 3 right now! what do u say? (i guess we both have silver cars)

Hi autopsyche, The first wheel looks cool 8K is a good deal......I have got BBS RC 7.5X17and i will get the wheels on 15 or 20th Feb....below is the pic of the wheel......

@Mahi ....nice wheels...how much did u totally land up playing ? and how r they goin to be delivered and stuff? The price that they show on the website for the alloys is for a set of 4 or 5?

Pretty expensive so an entire set would come up to around 80,000 or so depending on what u get.

For RC 7.5 X 17 i payed about Rs. 26500/wheel...
Transport - I live in chennai so no prob........
Another member of TBHP also got BBS RW 15" on Honda city but i not know his name ...The car looks cool on that wheel....

Hay the custom of 4o% and sales Tax of 20% are very bad....
Is that true???Any one knows about this????
