Estilo Upsizing

Needs help regarding tyre and alloy upsize.

I'm having an Estilo LXi with stick 145 profile 13 inchers. with the current setup handling is bit poor. feels nervous when cornering and has got tendency to skid even with lotto of thread in place [covered barely 12k km and rotated as in the manual].

I'm planning to change for a wider footprint on a 14 or 15 incher alloy and 165~185 wide wheels. Please suggest me the perfect size so that it won't affect the ride and wont tmaper with the body works. i dont mind jacking up the car by and inch or two.

and i want to know the approx price of the tyres and alloys. Preferred brands r Good Year, Bridgestone or Maxxis and H&R or Neo wheels. and i have a medium budget.
