Bridgestone GR-80 tyres available now.

Looks like Bridgestone has launched the GR-80 tyre in India. The sizes are mainly for 16" and a few for 15" for all large sedans. These tyres are for both comfort and performance and are targeted towards the Michelin MXV-8.

I read a few reviews on the net and all of them are of the opinion that the GR-80's perform better than the Michelin MXV-8.

Sizes available in India are:
205/65R15 94H
205/55R16 89V
205/60R16 92H
215/55R16 91V
205/55R16 91V
215/55R16 93V
215/60R1695H
205/55R1691V
225/55R16 95V
225/60R16 98V

Passenger Car Tyres & Automobile Tyres India I Potenza tires, Turanza tires, Dueler tires, Donut tyres | Bias, Radial, Tubeless tires

205/55-16 bridgestone GR-80 costs Rs. 7,400 which fits on the Skoda vRS and Laura L&K.

In comparison the MXV8 costs around same, the S-drives are around Rs.6500, the Yokohama V550 cost Rs.7K and the Continental ContiPremiumContact2 cost Rs. 7,200.

Just got these prices from N_C and dealers in bangalore.
