Where to buy used tires in Delhi

Hi,
Is there a market which sells slightly used tires in NCR region?
Apart from chor bazaar that is.
I am looking for 10-15K done safari OEM bridgestone tire, and expect it should cost around 1500.
So can people give me contacts of some dealers or some market I can go to?

Generally the tyrewallah's have info about used tyres. Go to/call a tyre shop and ask them.

I propose a tour to azad market. You might get some very good tyres @ your cost.

Try kanwal tyre house and rana tyres in karol bagh. You might find a decent set. They buy back tyres from customers who go in for an upsize. rana tyres is bang opposite karol bagh police station. Kanwal tyre house is on the road that turns in from bikanervala.

Why not Chor Bazar? Never been there - I am curious to know the potential risks of getting tyres frm there.
Also Can one get alloys as well from there?

Better is to pickup drop safari at ISBT Parking, Pickup Metro, Drop at Pul Bangash (Two stands later), Catch a rickshaw or take a walk. Just do take a keen eye on what you purchase.

Lastly i heard a known got two 70-80% tread tires of Getz from azad market for around 2-2.5 K. I'll try to fork out the location from him if possible.

Workshops usually have accidented and totalled cars parked in their yards.
Some possibilities there!

Is it open on sundays too?(azad market). If not I will make a trip to Karol Bagh tomorrow and go to azad market some other day.
Hopefully tires are allowed in metro!

You should be able to source almost-new tyres from any of the multitude of shops that deal in alloys and tyres. Try Lajpat Nagar Market, or Palika Bhavan opposite Hyatt Regency Hotel. There are a couple of shops opp. Lady Shri Ram College too. Going price should be around 1.5K to 2k INR.

No, Azad market is off on sundays. If you are visiting Karol Bagh do try your luck with kanwal tyres they are quite famous place of new car pickers before reaching home. (Read tyre change) Let me know if you didn't got any suitable one will try to arrange a for you by next weekend.
