Get the punctured area repaired. A puncture takes place irrespective of the life of the tyre, even a 1km old tyre can suffer a puncture.
I had the PLC for the past 10 months and today is the first time I used the spare tyre as the right rear tyre got punctured for the first time.. a medium sized nail is being injected in the middle of the tread.. will be giving for repair tomorrow..I hope there is not much damage to the sidewall!

I believe you changed it the moment it got punctured and didnt drive it on a flat tyre?? if no then you are good, puncture does not damage tyre side wall unless you drive it a distance with all the weight on it with no air.
Now a days they do amazing puncture job , they put in a thick needle type thing into the tyre exactle where the puncture was, this thing has a oval hole on its tip then they take some rubber type thing and pull it inside, lots of it but its like a rope, then pull out the needle and put some solution on it to let it dry, the thing converts like tyre rubber and gets mixed into the tyre (sorry I dont have exact names for all).

what is tyre pressure i need to maintain please recommend .
Does tyre pressure depends on profile of tyre also or not
Need to get the tyres of the SX4 ZXi changed. Comfort and lessee noise in more of a priority than performance. Which is the best option among all the tyre brands. And how much will it set me back by?
Please let me know which tyre size in Michelin is the best for a Fiesta.
I already have upgraded it to 15" alloys and running them on Yoko's S drives- 195/55/15.
I want to change them to something comfortable and silent. How will 195/60/15 be on a fiesta. Does LC or PP2 have a 195/55/15 ???

Go for yokohama C drive if you priority is both comfort and handling.
Can anybody who replaced OEM tyres with Michelin PLC provide their feedback on ride comfort, road noise and handling? I am planning to replace my OEM GoodYear NCT5s soon.

I have changed OEM Good Year NCT5s with Michelin PLC on my Laura 1.8 TSI. The ride is smooth and minimal road noise, handling is good. Since changed the tires on the day of delivery cannot compare with NCT5s. I have Civic running with NCT5s and seem to be fine. Already done 35K and still good for another 10K.
Changed my OEM GoodYear NCT5 tyres today to MPLC 205/65 R15 at Sai Iyengar & Sons. Initial experience is pretty good, especially with respect to braking. Did not yet take the car to a highway to check other aspects.
What's the price of Primacy LC tyres? Local dealer was quoting 5.2k/tyre, which I felt was pretty high.

Depends on the size. Guess its around 5.2k for 195/60/R15
Been 2 weeks since I have moved to the PLC from the PP2s. Guess they are absolutely awesome tires!
Yes I quoted price for 195/60/15.
Aren't PP2 performance oriented tyres? Ride must be bad!
Did my first long trip on MPLC. It is really amazing how the car feels on smooth roads. At constant speed, its very difficult to make out if the car is moving or stationary if you close your eyes. NCT5s used to make a big ruckus even on good tarmacs. Feels more confident at higher speeds as well even though I never went above 140. Did not see any difference in FE as claimed by Michelin though. I kept 32 psi on all tyres during the trip.

Congrats. PLCs are v good, but be aware they are soft compound tyres with thinner sidewalls..so be careful on rough roads. How much did you pay for each tyre? I heard prices have gone up. They were Rs 4900 (195/65 R15) in March '10.
I could hear and feel the difference after my Turanza ER300s (see my feedback earlier in this thread), so I can imagine the difference after a change from GY NCT5s (sorry, they're yucks). Fortunately Honda has also started fitting Michelin at the factory.
