This is the new kid on the block with claims of a breakthrough using full silica compound, dramatically reduced noise and better wear resistance. Good on paper, but would appreciate real feedback from users. Please post your actual feedback.

They have 195 section as well in the list. Waiting to get some feedback from users

My bad, yes they do have 195 60 15. Check the speed rating that should give you an idea. Any idea on the price?

Costs 4800 for 195/60/15 in Chennai

195/60R15 sells for 4950 in pune. Have been told that 'Primacy LC' are successors to 'Energy MXV8'.

are these superior to PP2?

PP2 is more towards performance, while this one leans to comfort and silent operation.

Go here and scroll down to see the product placement chart Michelin India - Energy XM1+

PP2 is in a completely different segment being a performance oriented tyre. This is a comfort oriented, low-noise tyre and as someone correctly pointed out earlier, is the replacement for the MXV8 range.

i wanna upgrade my Verna Shoes to 15'. they came with 175/70/r14 and covered 3700 kmts , but i am not happy with them. Recently drove a Elantra with Michelin Primacy Lc 195/60 R15. The car is like floating on the road .
Really liked the tyres and want to put them in my verna. i know that according to Iraghava's tyre upsize chart , the reccomended upgrade is 195/55/r15 but Michelin Primacy Lc is not available in that size.
I want to ask that what is the disadvantages of this upgrade ???

So u like the floating on road.??

195/60-15 is too tall for Verna, it will scrape with the wheel well.

195/60-14 would be the best upgrade.
Tire options:
1. Michelin XM1
2. Bridgestone Turanza ER60

Sir Ji , by floating means that car is very well planted on road and there is noise free and smooth ride.

i dont wanna tyre in 14" . i am asking because i want Michelin Primacy Lc in my car and they are not available in 14 ".

Can you Explain "it will scrape with the wheel well" .??????

he probably means that the tire will touch the wheel arches on bumpy roads or with heavy load.

These are ABSOLUTELY the best tyres available on the market. PERIOD.

90% Silica compound means 3% fuel efficiency gains over the MXV8s. The Tyres have less contact with the road due to their shape but offer more grip. Basically, these push the limits of science when it comes to car tires.
