2 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSDII tyres needed - Where do i get them?

Hi,

Got these set of tyres from my friend, 2 more tyres were lost

They now go on my VW Bus, the tyres just suit and gel so damn well with the Bus. Now i need 2 more tyres of the same pattern.

Tyres : Good year
Size : 195/60/R14

Someone / somewhere i could get them?

Pavan, Is this Eagle-F1? If so, I've seen it on umpteen number of swifts and all. Shouldn't be too difficult to get in BLR.

EDIT: Suggest that you get the tyre name and size added to the thread title.

GSD II's, pavan you really want them ? If you cant source these then your closest looking treads would be the ES-100.

I am actually looking at used tyres,

Reason: The VW Bus has 2 different settings comparing the front and the rear.

Initially i need used tyres to get a proper set-up on the vehicle and later get new one's, once i know which set will go well with the Bus.

I've tried 6 different sets so far and presently 175/60/R14 is good at the rear, but you put them on the front, they look puny.
195/60/R14 is looking HOT and this Goodyear tyre pattern, driving is a bit comfy.

Hence need 2 used tyres of the same pattern

What a brainstorm. Now why didn't any of us think of this before I'll have to scour my used tyre godown for these, might get a set of 4 I'd taken off my OHC. I do have 4 brand new tyres though.

I had a set thrown away a long time back. Check with your local dealers, a used won't be too hard to find considering how bad the tyre is.

Thank you all for the input guys.

Spoke to $@~t#0$#, he has a great knowledge about tyres, his suggestion and a mail from a VW Dealer in U.S match 100%. The new tyre size for the Bus is 175/80/R14

With this size i dont need to do any more permutation and combination using older tyres.

Spoke to Nikhil, says the above size is impossible, Will again have to work some maths to get the correct combo.

So.... I am settling for new tyres sometime soon, based on the availibility.

MODS: This thread can be closed now Thank you all again

Open a new thread and we'll try to find out what you can fit.

As I said, 195/70 R14 will match the closest when it comes to overall height of the tyre. But will 195 section tyres be ok for you?

175/80/R14 is the tyre size that used to be OE fitment for Toyota Qualis and the long dead Mahindra Voyager. No reason why you cannot get brand new tyres of this size. Goodyear (Wrangler DT),Bridgestone (L607),Apollo (Amazer XL/Quantum),MRF (Zigma VT),and even JK manufacture this size.

That is the 175 R14 size you're talking about correct? It was never actually called 175/80R14.
