+1 to GTO's Post.
My Yokos which came stock were almost bald at 40k kms and similar Bridgstones on my palio were going strong @50k kms.


Update regarding my Tyre.
got a discount of 50% over my previous tyre and paid appox 3.4k for the new tyre.
did not get a chance to see the old tyre so no pics of the cut/bulge.

Im using Yoko A-Drive on my 1981 Toyota Corona and the ride quality has improved immensly.In addtion i use dry nitrogen in these tubeless tyres to get the best ride.

Consumer complaints about Yokohama Tires
i know its not in India but it seems tyre bulges on yokos are pretty common.

Tyre bulges are common on ALL brands of tyres. You google for complaints about Michelin, you will get loads.

I bought these yokohama AVS ES 100 195/60/R 13 for my lancer along with ZEKI (reliance brand) Alloy wheels yesterday. costed me 29 k for four tyres and four alloys.

I have gone through a lot of posts in team BHP and asked some of my friends to suggest me on the tyres. Everyone asked me to go for the Michellins, But when i went to Reliance autozone in HSR layout somethng pushed me to go for the YOKOHAMA tyres.

I saw that the YOKO sidewall is little softer than the other brands and heard that thgey tend to wear easily when driven on rough roads and places where construction is going on, so immediately thought of going for testing.

Took the NH 207 towards CHIKKA tirupathi and from the main road took a deviation and tried all sorts of dirty roads there

To my surprise the YOKO`s carried well and all those sharp nails, Rough boulder, pathhles couldnt dare to deal with the tyres.

The ride was so smooth and pleasant. I disagree with all those who told me that YOKOS will not withstand harsh conditions. Even in heavy rain i was able to drive without any hesitation and the confidance the YOKO has given me.
