BMW X5 - 255/55/18 - From Run Flats to Conventional

Dear All,

I have done 19,000 Kms and it seems my front left tire doesn't have much tread left.

I am running on stock 255/55 R 18 tires.

I hate the comfort levels of RFT esp in India.

Can I do a tire rotation to make the tires last longer?

Has anyone replaced their RFTs? And if so, which tire do you recommend? Any ideas about price and where to buy them from?

What do you guys suggest?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

X5 - Rotating one tyre will be no good since tyres should always be rotated in either pairs or the whole set at once. Plus, since your vehicle's power delivery is biased towards the rear axle under most driving conditions, having tyres with different grip levels on the same axle would not be very advisable.

As for the RFT vs normal debate well most users have reported of excellent results after the swap especially when it comes to the ride qualities.
