Alloys for GETZ

I recently got my Passion Red GETZ GLS...
I upgraded from 13" wheels to 14" Neo Chrome Alloy
with 185/60R14 Ducaro Goodyear tyres in lieu of 170/60R13
The look of the car has definitly changed...

The ride has become a lot more bumby now...
Is there something wrong with the selection of wheels/tryes...

Any suggestions,...

Hey,

You did mean upgrade from 175/70/13 didn't you. I also got delivery of my GLS on the 8th of December which had the above size tyres. I have upgraded to 195/60/14 on stock rims not alloys. I have Yokohoma ES 100 tyres. The ride of my car has become just amazing in all aspects.

In your case I guess the tyres will be the culprit.

I wanted to know how will be the ride quality if I opt for AURA alloys 15" for my Swift, with 195/60/15, Bridgestone GIII. Twice I went to the dealers at JC rd, B'lore, I came back without changing bcoz the tyres was looking used.

Pls suggest what are the advantages b/w Aura, League & HR. Though Aura being an Indian Comp (can expect warranty).

It would be best to go for Aura... I went for neo since Aura did not have a Chrome Finish... Aura is a better brand than Neo and his highly reputed with great quality too...

Am going to my tyre dealer to discuss with him...

Yes original were 175/70R13 and not 170/60R13 as i wrongly mentioned.

If you have vibrations at higher speed (close to 100kmph) could be because your alloy wheels aren't well centered. Get hub-centric rings installed. More details see http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-a...-new-post.html
