Couldn't wait any longer, so here you go. And i saw a BHPian black safari & a fiat stationwagon on my way. Guys please contribute !

I took a few photographs but had to leave early because of some urgent work. I will try to upload some more taken by a friend o mine. Cheers !

Yes it was too hot ! & yep i saw one of em being pushed up on the gurgaon expressway flyover near vasant vihar.

BTW spitfire looks amazing ! Let me try to get some more pics from my colleague.

I saw 10-15 of these beauties racing down MG Road (from Gurgaon to Delhi) early morning 0545-0600hrs on 9th.

Was wondering then, from where they are coming from and where they are upto. I was sure there is something in NCR else seeing them all running in a line that early hour of the day is a rare sight.

I missed the show but it was fun running with them a slow speed to enjoy the looks of these ancient beauties

Thanks for sharing, nice to see some pictures of the Delhi scene again. Eagerly awaiting further pictures.

I'd especially like to see more of the yellow and black Fiat if possible for reference - seems really original, barring the paint combo.

The Heritage Motoring Club of India in association with 21 Gun Salute held an event “21 Gun Salute 3rd Vintage Car Rally” on Sunday, December 9, 2012” at 9:00 A.M. from the Panchsheel Club, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi to Leisure Valley Park, Gurgaon.

This event was open to all members of the Heritage Motoring Club of India participating with a Vintage / Classic car / motorcycle or scooter. The event consisted of a display of Classic autos at the Panchsheel Park, a Drive in TSD format to Leisure Valley Park, Gurgaon, a grand display on the grounds of Leisure Valley Park followed by Cocktails and a sumptuous and exquisite Lunch specially catered by 21 Gun Salute owned by Mr. Madan Mohan, Member Governing Body, HMCI.

Even at around 10 also i saw a few of em. Are they a bit difficult to handle? Coz in the evening i saw one of the chevy being driven a bit erratically on the MG road.
Basically that day i travelled b/w delhi-gurgaon 4-5 times. Had given my car for servicing.

Can anyone share the history of this car? Was this used in a Driving school by any chance?

Which car is the 1920s American saloon USU 249? It looks like a Model A Ford 2 door saloon, but on closer look the radiator shell could possibly imply some other make.

Also nice to see all kinds of vehicles being entered, from early tourers to large army carriers and later roadsters.

Very nice mix of cars to trucks. Did not like the chromed spokes on the Ford Truck. The dual steering was interesting.

Really like this car. This must be a 1931-32 Chrysler?

We had two Fiats in the event. A few photographs of the Fiats.
