Sure, the engine can be salvaged. But for which vehicle?! And the rims too. HM Contessa?

Pics. of this car have been posted before...the owner apparently went overboard in trying out an 'overhaulin' job and realised that it didnt turn out too well so project abandoned!

The only thing that is original in this car is the bodyshell, or whats left of it, plus a few cosmetic parts. Getting the original engine + running gear + rims etc. would be a suicidal nightmare! Bluntly put, this 'car' is a lost case!
BTW, why would you need the bonnet and side panels??

The owner certainly wouldve got it for peanuts, hence he could turn it into an experimental car!

Ohhh So Its a Hybrid.. I thought thats the Original Engine. . So afterall not worth Saving.

I Dont Need the Side Panels and Bonnet, I thought the Car is Original i mean the engine and thought maybe if the panels are there it might be worth saving by someone (ofcourse not me if u thiought so. If i get something like this right now, with already ongoing Basket Case restos, I Will be thrown out of the House.

Hey, that's probably a Chevy or a Dodge, pre 1940, maybe one can consider worth saving as these have all but disappeared.
Certainly not a Fiat, and not donated.
But the donated Fiat water tender which was donated has been located, seems to have been dumped in the Castrol-WIAA training school. Possible as Sasoon Dock garage is full

Cheers harit

Re: Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars

I had clicked this Buick in August 2009 in Goa. The car is no longer visible last I checked in Jan 2012.

That's clearly a Chevrolet 1/2 tonner, 1933-34 roughly. Must be saved!

Re: Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars

Yes Sir, Even i am trying but the Fellow has just kept the Cars and has not visited the Place in last 10 years. . As per the Watchmans testimony. He gave me the number of the owner after some Vitamine "M". I spoke to the owner. But he refused to talk when i mentioned the cars. Sentimental Value He says. His Dads cars.

Re: Imports gathering dust in India. Lets have some pics.

Saw this The W110 'Fintail' lying on the roadside in this horrible condition.
There was a garage nearby and the mechanics told me that the garage owner had bought it and planned to restore it.

I was wrong to assume that the car must have sunken by now. Visited Goa over the weekend and found this:
