This post is along with lots of emotional and personal connect. My 75yr dad sent me this WA Fwd yesterday out of his colleagues/brothers/friends group. All of them were (or emotionally still are?) part of RANE group of Companies in Madras, todays Chennai. He joined the group in 1968/69 all the way to 2000 when he was asked to leave by the then new owners; German group LuK.

I was hardly surprised to see how deep the work culture is in his blood even after 53 years of joining the Group or 2 decades after leaving the group. After 30~ years of working for a company they can only fire a group of employees, they can never erase the emotional connect one grows over the years spent there.



PS - I changed 4 employers in 21 years, with the 5th currently, I already feel I have changed lot of companies. Todays Gen-Z is not ready to spend more than 2 in one place. Sigh..!
