It seems to be an Austin 10. I doubt if the convertible version came in the hindustan even though this model was badged as a Hindustan subsequently. Here's a pic. of the same car from the front (didnt take any better pics. I'm afraid. If you look at the grey herald on the RH corner of this pic. you'll surely understand why! )

This was all at the HAIG rally in Feb. this year. How I wish we had such rallies here more often!

Nice pictures Syed. The fintail is the ex delhi car now in Hyderabad. It changed hands pretty fast to the third hand. I love the 47 Cadillac and it does not seem to be part of the Rally. I can also see some car opened up next to it and the Ford V8. So is it part of someones collection or a Garage.

The some car opened up next to it is a lovely '64 herald mk1 convertible, also present in the same rally. Its a rare dealer-made period conversion, Ive seen only 2 such heralds with such a softtop.

I thought as much it was a Herald but somehow in he picture it looked bigger.
The caddy looks gorgeous. There is a convertible in Bombay with Mr.Dossa.

Ive passed by that house/garage a number of times. 'always would find some interesting old cars being worked upon there! But never went inside, was too hesitant. Now I'm glad we've got someone close to the owners!
