Now for the parts I need:
1) Original headlights (I again know that this is nearly impossible, but then nothing has been IMPOSSIBLE on TBhp)
2) Original tailights
3) Hub caps (with "FIAT" written in centre)
4) Speedometer
5) "Hoods" around the speedometer & fuel gauge
6) Yellow HORN button
7) The very RARE "millecento" emblem, usually found on dash board/passenger side.
8) Ivory 'KNOB' on gear shift

I may need more parts but that's when we open her & dig more..

((AM I asking for TOO much?!?!?!?))

Hi Sonu,

Long time since we have spoken. Well its a not so exhaustive list, but getting the contents is a problem. I am facing trouble getting a simple delight meter console and a select window glass. Apparently, after Maulana sold off his shop, vintage parts in Chor Bazaar are pretty rare. CST road and other places around the country can be hunted for.
You could keep Mole's/President's fiat as a benchmark for restoration and parts.

One of Our friend bought the Carello original headlights from abroad for his Elegent and also some other stuff. Another member also bought some stuff from abroad. But on a ebay search yesterday, found that parts have dried up.

Keep looking. You can use Jawa motorcycle headlight's for your car, they are same size.
Our bro 'invinci' is sending me a tailight (right side) from Belgaum. My first spare for the Brownie (That what me & Karl call her for now).
Karl has also advised Jawa headlights but when I went to a shop in Grant road there are various models & one with big steel screw cap on top. I was so sonfused taht I just let it go. Can someone post a picture of Jawa lights.? Or Please tell me the type to buy? NOVICE.!!

Can you be more specific for area's to look around on CST road? My office is at Chruchgate so I can walk across to CST.
I have already downloaded all possible pics of President's & Amol's car. Another one is Jai3033 also. An excellent example like Amol's car.

ebay has also *dried* up..

Re: Vintage & Classic car parts info

@ kevinephraim: I'm dying to do so but dont want to start the thread till we have all the things in order & have a continous thread. Some resto threads get lost when we fall back & the resto time gets stretched.
I must add here that DTbhpian Karl has helped me to make decisions during the purchase of "brownie".

@ Pavan: Some HELP on missing parts ..

Raab Rakha,
Sonu
