1941 Bmw R12

This R12 manufactured in 1941, BMW Classic Motorcycles-scan0114a.jpghas been posted by Karl earlier, it used to be owned by a collector who had quite a few stilt parking garages in commerce centre tardeo. He also had a few old cars there and this bmw which was white then, used to be in the corner most stilt parking. His driver used to live there and he was a nasty person. I don't know who owned it because his driver refused to divulge his name, maybe he was Vinod Shah (Harit may know). After many years of seeing it, one day it was gone. Apparently the owner sold it even though he didn't want to earlier. I heard chotu the mechanic was repairing it. The current owner sent me this photo which I am posting. Most likely was in Goa used by the Portuguese Army before the Liberation.

Yup, that is a genuine Manx, probably the only survivor in India? It was a runner, but bore many battlescars from racing which I think made it look even better. It was for sale and Im told went to Hyderabad.

mole, apparently you're a friend of a friend. And I was just telling him today how I disposed off my 180 D engines a few years ago. Mahesh had a Capt's 250cc single cyl BMW for years outside his rear garage. It was restored and the owner didnt collect it for a long time. A few years ago I heard his son ook it afte rhalf the parts went missing.
