2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000 launched at Rs 12.19 lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2023 Versys 1000 in India. The ADV is priced at Rs 12.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Versys 1000 gets minor updates for the 2023 model year. The bike looks identical to the outgoing version and features a twin headlamp, fairing with integrated cornering lights and an adjustable windscreen.

The 2023 Versys 1000 is equipped with a semi-digital instrument console, Kawasaki Cornering Management, ABS, traction control, electronic cruise control and a DC power socket, which is now offered as standard.

The Versys 1000 is powered by the same 1,043cc, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 118.2 BHP and 102 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch.

The bike features 43 mm upside-down fork suspension at the front with a mono-shock at the rear, while braking duties are handled by dual 310 mm discs up front and a single 250 mm rotor at the rear.
