Triumph has started accepting bookings for the 2023 Street Triple in India. Customers can place their orders by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000. The bike will be officially launched in March next year, while deliveries will commence a month later.
The Street Triple gets a few cosmetic changes for the 2023 model year. It retains its aggressive looks thanks to the twin headlamp setup and reprofiled fuel tank extensions to name a few.
The bike is powered by a 765cc, inline 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 118 BHP and 80 Nm. According to Triumph, the 2023 model gets a revised gearbox with a quick shifter as standard and an improved exhaust system.
The Street Triple rides on 41 mm Showa upside-down fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, while the RS variant gets Showa upside-down Big Piston fork up front and an Ohlins mono-shock at the rear.
The new Street Triple comes equipped with cornering ABS and traction control as standard across all variants. The R variant gets four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and a Rider configurable mode.
