2024 Hyundai Santa Fe revealed with a completely new design

The SUV is expected to go on sale first in the USA later this year, before launching in other international markets.

Hyundai has unveiled the all-new Santa Fe with a striking new design, which the company says is optimised for "outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts".

The design of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is a major departure from its older outgoing iteration. The Santa Fe now gets boxy proportions, a longer wheelbase and H-shaped elements all around. These include H-shaped DRLs, H-motif on the lower grille and H-shaped tail lights at the rear. The overall exterior offers a clean look, replacing the curves with straight panels giving it a much beefier look.

Inside, the 2024 Santa Fe continues the clean look. It gets light-coloured seat upholstery offering a more spacious feel to the interiors, soft-touch materials all around and plenty of creature comforts and connected tech, as expected. Hyundai offers the new Santa Fe with a large curved display, housing the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment screen. Also, the new-gen Santa Fe will feature three rows of seating, compared to the two-row configuration on the current iteration. Overall, the interior of the 2024 Santa Fe offers a very upscale feel compared to the outgoing model, with a touch of Land Rover vibes.

Hyundai hasn't revealed any technical specifications of the upcoming Santa Fe. However, the 2.5T badge at the rear indicates the updated SUV could carry forward the same 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the current Santa Fe. Reports suggest, Hyundai could also offer a hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants of SUV, depending on the market.

Hyundai has just released the images of the 2024 Santa Fe, with the official reveal scheduled to take place in August. The SUV is expected to go on sale first in the USA later this year, before launching in other international markets.
