2025 Kia EV6 crossover spied testing ahead of unveil

Kia could unveil the updated EV6 crossover globally later this year

Kia is said to be working on a facelift version of its EV6 electric crossover. A prototype of the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift was recently spotted undergoing cold-weather testing in Sweden, wrapped in camouflage, revealing very few details of the updates expected.

As per reports, the spy images are of the standard Kia EV6 variant. Although camouflaged, the images do give us a glimpse of the updated front end, redesigned headlights and taillights and a revised rear end. While images of the interiors aren't available, expect a few upgrades in terms of features and tech in the cabin.

The 2025 Kia EV6 facelift follows the footsteps of its sibling, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which also received an update and is expected to arrive in markets later this year. The Kia EV6 facelift could, like the Ioniq 5, receive a larger 84 kWh battery pack.

The 2025 EV6 will continue to be based on Hyundai's E-GMP platform. The exact specifications of the updated model are yet to be revealed.

Reports suggest Kia could unveil the updated EV6 crossover globally later this year, with sales starting at a slightly later stage.
