All-new Renault Duster SUV globally unveiled

It is also scheduled to make its entry into the Indian market in 2025.

Renault-owned brand Dacia has unveiled the all-new Duster SUV for the global market.

The new 2024 Renault Duster SUV comes with a complete revamp, both in terms of its interior and exterior. It borrows a lot of elements from the brand's Bigster concept. Starting at the front is a pair of sleek LED headlamps with integrated Y-shaped LED DRLs connected via inserts on the front grille. The new-gen Duster gets a boxy and muscular look all around, with squared-off wheel arches, side cladding, flared rear fender, roof rails, tapering window line and a roof-integrated spoiler at the rear. The rear also comes with Y-shaped LED taillights.

Inside, the 2024 Duster gets a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen display at the centre of the overhauled dashboard. The AC vents are positioned below the infotainment system, with the centre console also getting plenty of cubby spaces. The SUV also gets a fully digital instrument cluster behind a new three-spoke steering wheel with multiple controls for various driver assist and infotainment functions. There is also a unique dedicated phone holder between the instrument cluster and the infotainment display. Other features include heated front seats, automatic climate control, wireless charging, multiple airbags, electronic parking brake, ADAS and plenty of type-c charging ports around the cabin.

The new Renault Duster is underpinned by the brand's CMF-B platform. While the company is yet to reveal the powertrain options, Renault has confirmed that the new Duster will get a hybrid powertrain option and a 4x4 version as well.

The new-gen Duster will go on sale in international markets sometime early next year. It is also scheduled to make its entry into the Indian market in 2025. Once launched in India, the SUV will take on the likes of the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
