Aston Martin to offer tucked-in display on its upcoming supercar

Whether the low-positioned screen is the main infotainment unit, or just one of the many displays on the upcoming supercar is yet to be confirmed.

Aston Martin is all set to reveal a new supercar on May 24, 2023. The upcoming model will be the successor to the brand's DB11 and could potentially be called the DB12.

Ahead of its unveil though, the British car brand has released a set of teaser images, in order to build up the excitement around the new model. Among the teaser images, there is one picture which showcases the central console of the upcoming supercar.

While the upcoming Aston Martin DB12 will get a complete interior overhaul over the outgoing DB11, the images reveal an interesting change in the new car's central console. The teaser picture shows a screen tucked in below the car's HVAC controls, along with a row of physical buttons and a rotary controller on the central stack.

Whether the low-positioned screen is the main infotainment unit, or just one of the many displays on the upcoming supercar is yet to be confirmed. However, the positioning is something unlike anything seen on other cars. It is also interesting to see that Aston Martin is staying away from integrating controls on a display and actually offering physical buttons.
