Auto Expo 2023: MG5 electric estate unveiled in India

The MG5 estate uses a 61.1 kWh battery pack that offers a maximum range of 402 km.

MG Motor India has showcased the MG5 electric estate at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023.

The MG5 is a fairly large and stylish estate. It has a blanked-off front grille and sweptback headlamps. The front bumper houses the charging port in the centre and has triangular vents on either side. Interestingly, the rear sports a pair of Audi-inspired LED taillights.

Inside, the MG5 estate comes with a futuristic-looking dashboard with a digital instrument cluster and a 3-spoke steering wheel. The car has a centrally-mounted rectangular touchscreen infotainment system and a rotary drive mode selector.

The MG5 estate uses a 61.1 kWh battery pack that powers a front-mounted electric motor. It packs 154 BHP and 256 Nm and has a maximum range of 402 km on a single charge.
