BMW 5 Series Carbon Edition launched at Rs. 66.30 lakh

The 530i M Sport Carbon Edition gets a few carbon fibre exterior elements and sporty 18-inch Jet Black alloy wheels.

BMW has launched the 5 Series Carbon Edition in India. It is available in the 530i M Sport variant and costs Rs. 66.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 5 Series Carbon Edition comes with a few exterior tweaks. The kidney grille, front attachments and splitters in dark black carbon fibre, along with the ORVMs. The car gets a carbon fibre rear spoiler and it rides on 18-inch Jet Black alloy wheels.

The BMW 530i M Sport Carbon Edition is available in the Alpine White exterior colour with Cognac and Black coloured upholstery. Speaking of the interior, the car comes with Sports seats, an M leather steering wheel, and features such as ambient lighting, 4-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 530i M Sport Carbon Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 249 BHP @ 5,200 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,450-4,800 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with five drive modes - Sport, Sport+, Comfort, ECO PRO and Adaptive. It also gets adaptive suspension, launch control and cruise control with braking function.
