CNG Honda Amaze launched at Rs 5.99 Lakh

Honda has just launched a new variant of the Amaze that is better suited for CNG use. The new variant is named the Amaze 1.2 S MT Plus and has been priced at Rs 5,99,585/- (ex-Delhi). The factory fit CNG kit is priced at Rs 54,315. Like the regular petrol variants, the S MT Plus will also be powered by Honda's 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine.

Claimed changes include a tweaked suspension, application of CNG specific engine components & specially prepared wiring harnesses. The new variant will come with a 2-year warranty as standard.

The Honda Amaze is currently offered with the 4-cylinder, 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol and 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engines. Both motors are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while the petrol also gets the option of a 5-speed automatic. Prices for the Amaze begin at Rs 5.18 Lakh and go up to Rs 8.20 Lakh (ex-Delhi).
