DSK to bring Keeway motorcycles to India

Pune based DSK Motowheels assembles and sells Hyosung motorcycles in India. The company is also gearing up to launch motorcycles from legendary Italian manufacturer, Benelli in the country. Now, according to latest media reports, DSK is planning to bring European brand, Keeway to India as well.

Keeway is owned by the Qianjiang Group of China, which also owns Benelli. The company's international range includes motorcycles, scooters, EVs and ATVs.

The Blackster cruiser motorcycle is the first model that is likely to be introduced in India. It is powered by a 248.9 cc, twin-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that develops 19 bhp @ 8500 rpm and 18.7 Nm of torque @ 5750 rpm. The bike has a 5-speed transmission. A 250 cc, single-cylinder street bike is also on the cards.

Both these bikes are expected to hit the market after June 2015.
