Ferrari EVs will roar with emotion, says CEO

Ferrari is expected to begin deliveries of its first EV by late-2025.

According to media reports, Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, has stated that the brand's upcoming electric cars will not be silent like other EVs on the road.

Speaking in an interview, Vigna stated, "Electric cars are not silent. If you know the technology, you know you can do a lot of things also with electric cars." He added that Ferrari is already working on a prototype for its electric car that will be far from silent. Vigna said that Ferrari's future EVs will maintain the "same unique experience" as its other vehicles, known for the rumble of its ICEs.

Vigna said, "When we talk about luxury cars like our cars, we are talking about the emotion that we are able to deliver to our client, so we are not talking about functional cars like other EVs that you see on the road."

Ferrari is expected to showcase its first fully electric vehicle soon. The carmaker's CEO has already confirmed that deliveries of the Ferrari EV are planned to begin by late 2025.
