Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, Sportster S recalled

Harley-Davidson offers the Pan America 1250 and Sportster S in India as well.

Harley-Davidson has recalled 3,917 units of the Pan America 1250 and Sportster S bikes to address a software issue with the instrument cluster.

The Pan America 1250s sold in the US between May 24 and October 19, 2021, and the Sportster S manufactured between May 21 and December 13, 2021, are affected by this recall.

According to the company, the TFT instrument cluster on both models fails to display the speedometer and neutral gear indicator when the ambient temperature falls below freezing. To fix the issue, Harley-Davidson has released a software update that will be available at dealerships free of cost.

Harley-Davidson offers the Pan America 1250 and Sportster S in India as well. However, it's unclear whether the bikes sold in India have the same issue.
