Along with the Duet, Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the Maestro Edge scooter in India on September 29. Here is a look at the scooter's product brochure, which has surfaced on the internet.
Like the Duet, the Maestro Edge is powered by a 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that puts out 8.3 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm.
The Maestro Edge measures 1,840 mm in length, 695 mm in width, 1,190 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,265 mm and ground clearance of 155 mm. Like the Duet, it comes in two variants - LX and VX. The LX has a kerb weight of 109 kg and the VX weighs 1 kg more.
The Maestro Edge has a telescopic fork suspension at the front and rides on 12-inch alloy wheel shod with tubeless tyres. Other features include self-starter, integrated braking, immobiliser, external fuel filler, digital-analogue instrument console with service reminder, side stand, mobile charging USB port, under-seat storage lamp, LED tail lamp and front and rear luggage hook.
The scooter will be available in seven colours - Pearl Silver White, Panther Black, Shooting Night Star (Black), Blazing Candy Red, Techno Blue, Matt Vernier Grey and Matt Blue.
