The upcoming Maestro Edge scooter from Hero MotoCorp has been spotted at a dealership indicating that its launch is nearing.
The Maestro Edge is the production version of the Dash scooter that was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. The scooter has a handlebar-mounted headlamp, indicators on the front apron, a storage compartment, a telescopic fork front suspension, a single contoured seat, a silver grab rail, black alloy wheels, drum brakes and a black exhaust. The side fenders sport "Maestro" and "Edge" badges.
The Maestro Edge is likely to be equipped with a power outlet to charge a mobile phone, analogue-digital instrument cluster and illuminated under-seat storage among others.
The Maestro Edge is likely to be powered by a 110 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It will have a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The scooter is also expected to get an integrated braking system.
