Honda releases new images of Mobilio ahead of launch

In the build-up to the launch of the Mobilio, Honda Cars India has released two new pictures of the Brio-based MPV on its website. The images show the car with accessories like fog lamps, alloy wheels, rear windscreen wiper and body-coloured wing mirrors and bumpers. Leave the nudge guards on the front bumper, the car in the pictures is identical to the top-of-the-line diesel variant that was spotted on the roads earlier this month (link).

Honda have also put up a video of the car showing various features of the car like, roof-mounted air conditioning, 60:40 split folding second row and 50:50 split third row of seats. The video shows the Mobilio with ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators as well.

Additionally, there is a 360-degree view of the interiors of the car that gives us an idea of what to expect. The car's dashboard and seats seem to be borrowed from the Amaze. At the Auto Expo, we had seen the car with a touchscreen infotainment system, which indicates that the standard audio system that is seen in the pictures could be replaced on the higher variants of the MPV.

The Mobilio will be available in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version is likely to get a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-Vtec engine that develops 117 bhp @ 6600 rpm and 145 Nm of Torque @ 4600 rpm. The diesel version of the car is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-DTec motor that produces 98 bhp @ 3600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm.

Honda is scheduled to launch the Mobilio next month and will pit the MPV against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
