Hyundai has launched the Venue facelift in India. The crossover is available with three engine options with prices starting at Rs. 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated Venue gets a redesigned radiator grille inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. It continues to feature a split headlamp design with a few minor modifications. Similarly, the front bumper has also been tweaked and now features a rectangular air dam.
Moving to the rear, Hyundai has replaced the rectangular tail lamps with a more modern-looking LED set up with a light bar that connects both units. The crossover also gets a redesigned rear bumper and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the Venue facelift now comes with a dual-tone black and beige theme. Higher variants come equipped with a 2-step reclining rear seat, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, an air purifier, rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger and a digital instrument cluster. The car also gets an updated 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 60 connected car features as well as Alexa and Google Voice Assistant.
In terms of the safety kit, the Venue comes with up to 6 airbags, ESC, VSM, and hill-assist control, among others.
Powering the Venue are the same set of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
