Kia Seltos X Line features leaked ahead of launch

The Seltos X Line comes with a dark themed cosmetic package. The new variant will be launched this festive season.

Kia is gearing up to launch the Seltos X Line this festive season. It's primarily a cosmetic update, and here are the details.

The Seltos X Line will be offered in a Matte Graphite exterior colour with a matching grille with a Piano Black frame. The silver front skid plate has been replaced with a Piano Black piece with orange accents. Similarly, the LED fog lamp pods also get Piano Black surrounds.

Moving to the rear, the X Line variant gets a Piano Black shark fin antenna, tailgate garnish, piano black faux exhausts and rear skid plate with orange accents. The SUV also gets black ORVMs, side door garnish with Sun Orange accents, and 18-inch Crystal Cut Matte Graphite alloys.

The Seltos X Line comes with a dual-tone interior, Indigo Pera leatherette seats with grey stitching and matching door panel trim.

The X Line variant could be offered with the same set of engines as the regular Seltos. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit that makes 138 BHP and 242 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. While the petrol engines come paired with either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT (1.5L Petrol only) or 7-speed DCT (1.4L T-GDI only), the diesel gets a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic option.
