Kia has released a teaser of the upcoming Sonet facelift. The updated sub-4 meter SUV is set to debut on December 14, 2023.

The teaser reveals the Sonet’s updated front end, featuring a new set of LED headlamps and C-shaped LED daytime running lights. It also gets a slightly reworked front grille and LED fog lights integrated into the front bumper.

The teaser also provides a glimpse of the Sonet’s interior. The crossover will be equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bose audio system and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Reports suggest that higher variants of the Sonet could get ADAS.

Mechanically, the updated Sonet will be identical to the outgoing version. It will carry forward the existing 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
