Mahindra appoints Pratap Bose as Chief Design Officer

Bose will head Mahindra's new Global Design Organization, comprising of Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E.) and the Mahindra India Design Studio (M.I.D.S.).

Ex-Tata design head Pratap Bose has been appointed as the Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer of Mahindra's new Global Design Organization.

The Global Design Organization will comprise of the Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E.) and the Mahindra India Design Studio (M.I.D.S.). Bose will oversee the design of all key business segments including SUVs, electric vehicles, LCVs, Last Mile Mobility (LMM), Large CVs, Peugeot Scooters (France), and Tractors and Farm Machines.

Pratap Bose will report to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto and Farm Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. He will take charge on June 24, 2021.

Bose is an alumnus of the Royal College of Art, London and the National Institute of Design, India. He has over 20 years of experience and has worked with Tata Motors, Piaggio, and Daimler Chrysler, Japan in the past.
