Maruti Suzuki has officially rolled out the latest update for the infotainment system on select models and is updating customer cars at service centres. The Android Auto function is now available on the touchscreen-equipped models of Ciaz, S-Cross, Baleno, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga.

Maruti has sent out a circular to authorized service centres notifying them about the software update. The circular also mentions that select variants falling in the specified Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) range and produced after the given cut-off dates should be updated with the latest software. Vehicles will receive the updates whenever they report to the workshop.

There are a few precautions that need to be taken while updating the software. These have been listed out in the circular. If customers wish to update the software on their own, they can do so by downloading the setup files from this link.
