Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG launched at Rs 9.14 lakh

The Brezza S-CNG is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Dual Tone.

Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of the Brezza CNG. The crossover is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Dual Tone, with prices starting at Rs 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

The CNG version of the Brezza looks identical to the standard car. It features LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, dual-tone alloy wheels and slim wraparound tail lights with ‘Brezza’ lettering in the centre.

Inside, the Brezza comes equipped with a dual-tone dashboard with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, automatic climate control, cruise control and a head-up display to name a few.

The Brezza CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre engine that is also offered in the Ertiga and XL6. It develops 102 BHP and 135 Nm when running on petrol and 87 BHP and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 25.51 km/kg.

There were reports that Maruti would offer the Brezza CNG with an automatic transmission. However, that didn’t materialize and instead, the car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission only.
